So, I always forget that sometimes stories need chapters like this. Chapters where not much happens. Chapters that drain me and make me feel like I don't know any words anymore!! Sometimes in stories we need chapters that set things up. They're not very exciting or beautiful, they don't move the reader or the writer...but they serve a purpose and while I was trying to drag this chapter out of my brain and into a document I thought about how the show is in this place right now too. Think of it like a big game of chess. It isn't wise to throw your queen directly at the opposition on your first move. There's tactics to it and sometimes it takes time to get all the pieces in the right place to make your move. Anyway, this chapter is all about that and, as such, I found it hard to write so go easy on me. I hope that I can make it up to you with the next one! x
