But I wanted to write this two-chapter Signs & Wonders interlude for Amal, because today is her birthday, and because she loved that story so very much. Amal, happy happy birthday. I hope you enjoy some of this, and I hope it fits into the universe the way you imagine it.

This is set about six years after the final chapter of Signs & Wonders.
